For parents

You don't need to be the expert or the facilitator.

Let your kids take the lead.

Path & Pivot was built for parents who care deeply about their child's education and who also have approximately zero spare hours to plan it from scratch and hold their hand while it happens. You get to choose your level of involvement in every mission.

From topic to lesson in a few minutes.

  • A few minutesTime from topic input to printable lesson brief
  • Zero materialsEvery lesson is designed around what's already in the room.
  • 7 stepsBuilt by educators. Same proven pedagogical framework — every time, for every topic, in every location.

You tell us where you are and what your child is thinking about. We generate the full lesson. You print it, hand it over, and decide how close to stay.

You choose how close you stay to the trail.

LEVEL 1

Solo Explorer

Your child runs the mission (mostly) independently. Path and Pivot guide them through every step. You're a coffee break away — available if needed, not required.

Best for: Ages 8+ · Independent readers · Longer missions

LEVEL 2 · MOST POPULAR

Co-Pilot

You set up the mission together, then your child takes the controls. You check in at the debrief — a handful of questions designed to stretch their thinking, not test it.

Best for: Ages 6+ · Connection without directing

LEVEL 3

Family Mission

Everyone's in. Different roles, same topic, same afternoon. The conversation at the end is the lesson. Often the best conversation you'll have all week.

Best for: Younger children · Rainy days · Long weekends

The guide tells you what to ask.Not what to say.

The Parent Debrief is the moment the learning goes deep. Every lesson includes a parent guide with five to seven open-ended questions. You don't need to know the answers. It works better when you don't.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS — ARTEMIS MISSION · ENGINEER · AGE 10

"If you had to design the lunar lander to carry one thing beyond the mission requirements, what would you bring and why?"

"The engineers who designed Apollo had to solve problems nobody had ever solved before. What problem do you think was the hardest?"

"If this mission fails, what do you think the next team would do differently — and what would they keep?"

Your child's work belongs to your family. Full stop.

The trail starts wherever you are.

At home on a rainy Tuesday. Crossing Asia by train. Standing in front of something ancient and extraordinary. It doesn't matter where.
